We understand that you're seeking prayer for a renewed friendship between you and Julie. While friendships are valuable, we must first ensure that this friendship is honoring to God and aligned with His principles.
Let us remember what the apostle Paul wrote in 2 Corinthians 6:14, "Don't be unequally yoked with unbelievers, for what fellowship have righteousness and iniquity? Or what communion has light with darkness?" (WEB). It is crucial that our close friendships are with those who share our faith and values, as they can influence our walk with Christ.
We pray that if this friendship is in God's will, He will restore and strengthen it. We ask that He guides both of you to grow in His likeness and that your friendship will be a testament to His love and grace. We pray this in Jesus' name, as it is only through Him that we have access to God. As it is written in John 14:6, "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.'" (WEB).
However, if this friendship has been broken due to ungodly influences or actions, we pray that God will give you the strength to forgive, let go, and seek healthier, godly friendships. We encourage you to seek God's will in all your relationships, and to remember that His ways are higher than ours (Isaiah 55:8-9).
Lastly, we want to ensure that you have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. If you haven't already, we encourage you to confess your sins, believe in His death and resurrection, and commit your life to Him. It is only through believing in Jesus that we can be saved and have eternal life (John 3:16).
