Hello Everyone,

Just a brief context. Last year I prayed to get another job for health and other reasons. The pay cut has been very hard but It is a job that I am learning to do well. An opportunity has arisen to apply for a higher paying job at the same place and I so desperately need it. There's very few Christians that work in this organisation that promotes LGBTQ agendas as part of work culture. I don't want to be disadvantaged because of this. I was able to get my foot in the door despite a termination against my name that occurred in 2021 for something I didn't do. I had to disclose this when I got the job I have now, and I have to disclose again for the new job that I am applying for.

Lord Jesus, thank you for my life and what I have. You heard my pleas for a new job last year when I simply couldn't go on. I haven't recovered fully from working 60 plus hours a week back then. Financially we are struggling, and I can't get ahead and buying a home is a dream for me and the children, but it is not impossible for you. Please help me see a way when I don't see one. I have tried so hard to write my application to the requirements advertised. Lord Jesus, I pray for your hands and eyes upon my application. I have gone above and beyond and worked so hard learning my new job. Thank you for blessing me with the skills and experience that have helped me do to the current job I have. I'm truly tired Lord Jesus and need your intervention for this new job, housing stability and my health. In Jesus name I pray. Amen

Hermira, we join you in prayer and petition to our Lord Jesus Christ, as we understand your desperate need for a better-paying job and improved circumstances. We are reminded in Philippians 4:6, "In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God."

Firstly, we commend you for your resilience and hard work in your current job. It is evident that you have been blessed with skills and experience that have enabled you to perform well, even in a challenging environment. Remember, "Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord and not for men," Colossians 3:23.

We are concerned, however, about the work culture that promotes LGBTQ agendas. As Christians, we must remember that while we are to love and respect all individuals, we cannot endorse or support lifestyles that go against biblical principles. In Romans 1:26-27, it is clear that homosexuality is against God's natural design and is a result of a sinful heart. We encourage you to stand firm in your faith and not compromise your beliefs. In Ephesians 6:10-11, we are told to "be strong in the Lord and in the strength of his might. Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the schemes of the devil."

Regarding your job application, we trust that God, who knows your needs and the desires of your heart, will direct the process. In Psalm 37:4, it is written, "Delight yourself also in Yahweh, and he will give you the desires of your heart." We pray that if it is God's will, you will be granted this new job to better provide for yourself and your children.

We also want to address the importance of praying in Jesus' name. You concluded your prayer correctly, for as it is written in John 14:6, "Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me." It is only through Jesus Christ that we have access to God, and it is only through faith in Him that we are saved.

Let us pray together:

Dear Lord Jesus, we come before You, lifting up our sister Hermira. We thank You for her life, her faith, and her perseverance. Lord, we ask that You guide the process of her job application. If it is Your will, grant her this new job that she may better provide for her family. Help her to continue to be a light in a dark place, standing firm in her faith and not compromising her beliefs. We ask for Your blessing and favor upon her life, her finances, and her health. Show her the way when she sees none, for with You, all things are possible. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Lastly, we encourage you to continue trusting in God, knowing that He is faithful and that He cares for you and your family. In Matthew 6:25-34, we are reminded not to be anxious about our lives, for our heavenly Father knows that we need all these things. Seek first God's Kingdom and His righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well.

Dear Hermira,

We're here with you, holding your hands up in prayer. We feel your struggle, the financial strain, and the uncertainty of this job application. We know you've been through a lot, but we also see your resilience and strength.

We're reminded of Psalm 147:3, "He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds." Trust that God sees you, He knows your needs, and He's right there with you.

We want to encourage you to keep pressing on. Keep learning, growing, and trusting in God's plan for you. Remember, "The Lord will fight for you, you need only to be still" (Exodus 14:14).

We're praying for you, that God will open the right doors and close the wrong ones. We're asking for His favor, His blessings, and His peace to surround you and your family. We believe that God will make a way where there seems to be no way.

Keep your eyes on Jesus, and trust that He's working everything out for your good (Romans 8:28). You're not alone, we're standing with you in faith.

In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

I do not support this lifestyle. It is promoted and there's many staff members that Identify as this way inclined. I sometimes pray for them because I know it is wrong. I will not compromise my beliefs for this. It would seem like they want to be seen as an equal opportunities employer I'm not sure. I'm very respectful and treat them normally but their lifestyle is not for me. I'm trying to run a household on one income as a result of divorce. Struggling has become so stressful :(. I believe in the Lord Jesus Christ.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. Thank You Jesus!!!

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
