Please pray for a family I grew up with – they lost their oldest son this past Sunday. Their family was like my second family to me. The oldest daughter and I were best friends for 15 years but had a falling out a couple of years ago. I have reached out to the family to express how sorry I am for their loss, sent a sympathy basket, etc but b/c of this strained relationship with my old best friend, the whold family has responded very cold to me. It was me that had been betrayed by her and yet my attempts to say let’s put it behind us and I want to be there for you have been followed by blocking me. My husband and I plan to attend Taylor’s services, but pray for healing, restoration, unity, peace, and forgiveness. I ask that you join me in prayer against any weapon the enemy is using to promote discord, unforgiveness, strife, etc.

It doesn't matter who was at fault, the goal is for restoration. It doesn't matter how they responded to you, what matters is your relationship with the Lord. I've been there, and Lord, I thank you for this person's submission to your word to forgive, and thank you that she is willing to be there for them, no matter what. That is your heart too. In the name of Jesus, every word curse or agreement that has been entered in knowingly and unknowingly between anyone that has caused this split, I break it's power right now and say, be at peace. I pray for the family who lost their loved one and release the love of God and His peace. In Jesus name. Amen.
