Let us join together in prayer for ###, who is experiencing pain in their left shoulder. We are grateful that they have reached out to us, trusting in the power of prayer and the healing name of Jesus.
Firstly, we would like to clarify a misunderstanding. It is true God can heal without medicine, but this does not mean we should not use medicine or seek medical advice. God has given us doctors, nurses, and others to help us, and we should be grateful to Him for their service and avail ourselves of their help. In the Bible, Luke, the writer of the Gospel of Luke and Acts, was called the beloved physician in Colossians 4:14. Seeking medical advice is not a lack of faith, but a wise and faithful decision.
In the book of James, chapter 5, verse 14, we are told, Is any among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the assembly, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord, and the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up. If he has committed sins, he will be forgiven. Therefore we encourage you to seek help from other believers who can pray with you and possibly anoint you with oil.
We pray together in agreement for ###'s healing, trusting in the promise of Jesus that says, Again, I tell you assuredly that if two of you will agree on earth concerning anything that they will ask, it will be done for them by my Father who is in heaven. For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there I am in the middle of them. We know that God hears our prayers and want to remind you that it is only by the name of Jesus Christ that we can approach God as He is our Lord and Savior. Praise the Lord! It is by His stripes we are healed. Let us join together in prayer.
Dear Jesus, we come before You, lifting up ### who is in need of Your healing touch. We trust in Your name, and also ask You to remove any fear or anxiety they may be feeling. Please guide them, Lord, as they seek medical advice and also call for the elders of the church to pray over them. We ask for Your healing and comfort in Jesus' name. Amen.
