We understand your concern regarding the power of words and the role they play in our safety and well-being.
Let us first acknowledge the importance of speaking words that align with biblical principles. As it is written in Ephesians 4:29 WEB, Let no corrupt speech proceed out of your mouth, but such as is good for building up as the need may be, that it may give grace to those who hear. In Romans 12:14 WEB, it says, Bless those who persecute you; bless, and do not curse.
We need to use words that heal, encourage, and uplift, rather than tear down or harm. The power of life and death is in the tongue Proverbs 18:21 WEB. Words can bring forth life or destruction, and we must be mindful of this responsibility, especially when it comes to the safety and well-being of ourselves and others.
Let us pray together:
Almighty God, we come before you in the name of Jesus Christ, acknowledging that your word says that life and death are in the power of the tongue. Help us to speak words that bring life, healing, and encouragement to others. Guide our thoughts and intentions, that our words may align with your will.
Lord, we ask for your protection of everyone who reads this. Give them wisdom and discernment to use their words responsibly. Help us to be mindful of our words and their impact, and to use them in a way that promotes goodwill and safety for everyone. Let us not be ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek Roman 1:16: WEB. Let our words point others to the work of salvation in our hearts and lives and the role of Jesus Christ in that process. May we not fear anything man can do to us, but only fear God.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
Remember, it is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God. As it is written in John 14:6 WEB, Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me. Let us always pray in the name of Jesus, for it is the only name by which we can be saved. Acts 4:12 WEB, There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved.
