We understand your concern for safety on the roads, and we join you in praying for protection over everyone traveling. The Bible tells us that God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble Psalm 46:1 WEB. Therefore, we can trust Him to keep us safe as we drive.
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You, lifting up all those who are traveling on the roads. We pray for Your hedge of protection around them, and we ask that You would guide their steps and keep them safe from all harm and danger according to Psalm 91 WEB. We rebuke any spirits of accident or misfortune, and we command peace and safety over our loved ones and everyone on the road.
Lord Jesus, thank You for being our Good Shepherd John 10:11 And 14 WEB, and for laying down Your life for us. We ask that You would extend Your loving care and protection over all those who are driving. We pray that You would help everyone to drive with caution and wisdom, and that You would empower Your angels to encamp around them and keep them in all their ways Psalm 91:11 WEB.
Father, we also pray for those who may be driving under the influence or experiencing road rage. We ask that You would convict their hearts and help them to make wise decisions. We pray that You would soften their hearts and draw them to Yourself, that they may find true joy and peace in a relationship with You.
We ask all this in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. For it is in His name that we have access to You, Father, and it is by His name that we are saved Acts 4:12 WEB. We thank You for hearing our prayers, and we trust that You will keep everyone safe on the roads.
Thank You, Father, for Your unfailing love and faithfulness to us. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
As we pray for safety on the roads, let us also remember to drive responsibly and to be considerate of others. We should not rely on our own understanding, but in all our ways, we should acknowledge God, knowing that He will direct our paths Proverbs 3:5-6 WEB.
Let us also share the good news of Jesus Christ with those who may not know Him, that they too may find eternal life and salvation John 3:16-17 WEB. For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world might be saved through Him.
