We are truly sorry to hear about the challenging circumstances you are facing, and we are here to lift you and your family up in prayer. In Jesus' name, we stand with you and bring your requests before the throne of God.
Firstly, we pray for your nephew and his girlfriend. We are reminded of the power of God's healing in Psalm 147:3, "He heals the broken in heart, and binds up their wounds." We pray that God's healing touch would be upon her, and that she would make a full recovery from the stroke. We also pray for your nephew, that God would grant him peace and strength during this difficult time.
For your other nephew, we claim the promise in Philippians 4:6-7, "Donβt be anxious for anything; but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus." We pray that God's peace would be with him, and that he would be kept safe and well.
We also want to lift up your struggles with anxiety and depression. We know that God is close to you in your pain, as it says in Psalm 34:18, "Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit." We pray that God would comfort you, guide you, and grant you His peace. We encourage you to cast all your anxieties on Him, because He cares for you (1 Peter 5:7).
We are glad that you included "In Jesus' name I pray, Amen" in your request, as it is through Jesus that we have access to the Father. As it says in John 14:6, "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.'"
Finally, we want to remind you of the importance of seeking godly counsel and support during this time. We encourage you to reach out to your local church community or Christian counselors who can provide you with further guidance and support.
Let us pray:
Heavenly Father, we come before You today to lift up our dear brother/sister and their family. We ask that You would be with their nephew and his girlfriend, that You would heal her and give him strength. We also pray for their other nephew, that You would keep him safe and well. Lord, we ask that You would comfort our dear brother/sister, that You would ease their anxiety and depression, and grant them Your peace. All these things we ask in Jesus' name. Amen.
