Heavenly Father, we come before you in the name of Jesus, interceding on behalf of our anonymous friend who is in need of pain medication and relief from their back surgery. Lord, we ask that you would touch the hearts of the staff at CVS and ensure that the pain medication is ready for pickup in the morning. We pray for a smooth process and no delays.
Father, we also lift up the request for the pain to go away for good. Your Word tells us in Psalm 34:17-18 that you are near to the brokenhearted and save those who are crushed in spirit. We ask that you would bring healing and restoration to our friend's body, relieving them from the pain they are experiencing.
In James 5:14-15, it is written that if anyone is sick, they should call the elders of the church to pray over them, anointing them with oil in the name of the Lord. We pray that you would surround our friend with a community of believers who can pray for them and provide support during this time.
Lord, we trust in your power and your love for us. We believe that you are able to bring healing and relief. May your will be done in our friend's life, and may they experience your peace and comfort throughout this journey. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
