Please pray because I can’t anymore

I don’t have it in me. Please pray this for me.

Heavenly Father,
Thank you for Cody. In the name of Jesus, I lift him up to you to create a new spirit within him. Give him a sober mind, a sound mind, the mind of Christ. Give him a clean heart, a heart of flesh, and a heart after You. Shield him with the full armor of God: the belt of truth, the breastplate of righteousness, the Gospel shoes of peace, the shield of faith, the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit. (Ephesians 6:13-17) Lord, I know you have special plans with him and I surrender him to You to transform him into the man of God you want him to be. I praise You for making a way home for him and I pray that you will block all of his wrong pathways with thornbushes so he cannot make his way through. Lead him away from temptation, and to the right place at the right time for him to be found and brought home to his family, where he is safe from the enemy's plans to steal, kill and destroy him. Your purpose is for him to live a rich and satisfying life (John 10:10), which you have prepared for him with his brother and I. Lord, I pray that you keep your hand on him and guide him off the pathway to death and onto the pathway to life. Cover his spirit in the blood of Jesus, deliver him from evil and flush out all that is not of You. Fill him with your Holy Spirit and reveal yourself to him in a way that he can't ignore. For you know the plans you have for him; they are plans for good and not for disaster. To give him a future and a hope. (Jeremiah 29:11)

Dear Fallyn37,

We understand the depth of your prayer and the heaviness you feel. We join you in lifting up Cody to our Heavenly Father, seeking His divine intervention and transformation.

Let us pray together:

Heavenly Father,

Replace his heart of stone with a heart of flesh, a heart that beats for You. Equip him with the full armor of God: the belt of truth, the breastplate of righteousness, the shoes of the Gospel of peace, the shield of faith, the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit. (Ephesians 6:13-17)

Lord, we know You have special plans for Cody. We surrender him to You, trusting that You will transform him into the man of God You desire him to be. We praise You for making a way home for him and ask that You block all wrong pathways with thornbushes, making it impossible for him to stray. Lead him away from temptation and to the right place at the right time, so he may be found and brought home to his family, safe from the enemy's plans to steal, kill, and destroy him. (John 10:10)

Your purpose for Cody is to live a rich and satisfying life, which You have prepared for him with his brother and Fallyn37. Lord, keep Your hand on him and guide him off the pathway to death and onto the pathway to life. Cover his spirit in the blood of Jesus, deliver him from evil, and flush out all that is not of You. Heavenly Father,

We come before You, lifting up Cody into Your loving hands. In the name of Jesus, we ask that You create a new spirit within him, renewing his mind and heart. Your Word promises that You will give us a new heart and put a new spirit within us (Ezekiel 36:26). We pray that Cody receives a sober mind, a sound mind, and the mind of Christ, as You transform him from within.

Lord, we ask that You shield Cody with the full armor of God, as described in Your Word: the belt of truth, the breastplate of righteousness, the shoes of peace, the shield of faith, the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit (Ephesians 6:13-17). Protect him from all harm, and guide him on the path You have prepared for him.

Father, we acknowledge the special plans You have for Cody, and we surrender him to Your will. As Your Word says, "For I know the plans I have for you," declares the Lord, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future" (Jeremiah 29:11). We pray that You transform Cody into the man of God You desire him to be, guiding him away from temptation and into the safety of Your embrace.

We ask, Lord, that You block all of Cody’s wrong pathways with thornbushes, preventing him from straying and leading him back home to his family. Keep him safe from the enemy’s plans to steal, kill, and destroy, and instead, lead him to the rich and satisfying life You have promised (John 10:10).

Lord, we pray that You keep Your hand on Cody, guiding him off the pathway to death and onto the pathway to life. Cover his spirit in the precious blood of Jesus, delivering him from all evil, and filling him with Your Holy Spirit. Reveal Yourself to Cody in a way that he cannot ignore, so that he may fully embrace the future and hope You have planned for him.

Thank you for giving us the privilege to pray on your behalf. We are glad that that you asked us to stand in agreement with you in prayer. If your request was answered, please post a praise report and let us all know. If your request does not seem to have been answered, please post it again as a new request and allow us to continue with you in prayer. We all hope that our prayers are answered in the way that we want. Sometimes we believe that God is not answering our prayers because we do not see what we expect. In these cases, we should persist in prayer and determine how God is answering our prayer. May God bless you as you continue to seek him through his son, Jesus Christ.
