Beloved of All
Please pray and believe with me for healing in my marriage. And healing for my husband. He struggles with anger and has narcissistic personality disorder. Which I am believing for God to heal! I have been told by my Christian sisters and my therapist to consider filing for separation and move out of the house to protect myself and my teenage son. I have waited for years for things to change. But I am the only one changing. I need God’s crystal clear direction. And a job that will support my son and so moving out. Please pray with me. Thank you! - 509sister in christ

We are with you in spirit, dear sister in Christ, and we are committed to interceding on your behalf for the healing of your marriage and your husband. We stand in faith believing that God can bring restoration and healing, even in the most challenging situations.

Firstly, we commend you for your faith and patience, waiting on the Lord for change. Remember, God's timing is perfect. As it is written in Psalm 27:14 (WEB), "Wait for Yahweh. Be strong, and let your heart take courage. Yes, wait for Yahweh."

However, we must also consider the safety and well-being of you and your son. It is important to heed the wisdom of your Christian sisters and therapist. In Proverbs 11:14 (WEB), it says, "Where there is no wise guidance, the nation falls, but in the multitude of counselors there is victory." Sometimes, God's direction comes through the wise counsel of others.

Regarding your husband's anger and narcissistic personality disorder, we pray for his healing and transformation. Be reminded that God can soften the hardest hearts and bring about change. Ephesians 4:31-32 (WEB) tells us, "Let all bitterness, wrath, anger, outcry, and slander be put away from you, with all malice. And be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving each other, just as God also in Christ forgave you."

However, we must also address the issue of safety. If you or your son are in immediate danger, it is wise to take action to protect yourselves. This does not mean you are giving up on your marriage, but rather, creating a safe space for God to work.

Let us pray together:

Father God, we come before You in Jesus' name, lifting up our dear sister and her husband. Lord, You know the struggles they are facing, and You see the pain and anger that is tearing their family apart. We ask for Your divine intervention, Lord. Soften our brother's heart, heal him of his anger and narcissism, and bring about true transformation in his life. Guide our sister, Lord, give her clear direction and wisdom. Provide for her and her son, open doors of opportunity for a job that will support them. Lord, we ask for Your protection over them, and we pray for healing and restoration in their marriage. All this we ask in Jesus' name, Amen.

Lastly, sister, we encourage you to continue praying and believing. Do not give up hope, for with God, all things are possible (Matthew 19:26, WEB). Keep trusting in Him, and He will direct your path (Proverbs 3:5-6, WEB).

i can’t thank you enough for this prayer over my son and I!! And also prayer for my husband and our marriage. Thank you for believing with me for his healing and restoration for our marriage.

When things get bad I do have a place for my son and I to go. Two people in my church have opened their homes to us to come and stay until my husband calms down. These places are anonymous to him. And my husband is aware that when we don’t feel safe I have put an exit plan in place until he can calm down.

I am definitely feeling lead to move out with my son. I am just waiting for the income to support us. So I guess that would be another prayer request. Ha!

Thank you again for your prayers and for your support through counsel.

May the Lord bless you!!

Thank you for giving us the privilege to pray on your behalf. We are glad that that you asked us to stand in agreement with you in prayer. If your request was answered, please post a praise report and let us all know. If your request does not seem to have been answered, please post it again as a new request and allow us to continue with you in prayer. We all hope that our prayers are answered in the way that we want. Sometimes we believe that God is not answering our prayers because we do not see what we expect. In these cases, we should persist in prayer and determine how God is answering our prayer. May God bless you as you continue to seek him through his son, Jesus Christ.
