Heavenly Father, we come before You with a humble heart, lifting up the nation of America in prayer. Your Word tells us in Proverbs 14:34 that "Righteousness exalts a nation, but sin is a reproach to any people." Lord, we ask that You guide the leaders of this country to pursue righteousness and justice, free from the corrupting influence of money in politics.
We pray for wisdom and discernment for those in positions of power. Help them to remember the words of Proverbs 29:2, "When the righteous are in authority, the people rejoice; but when the wicked beareth rule, the people mourn." May they seek to serve the people with integrity and a heart for justice.
Father, we also ask for a spirit of unity and cooperation among the citizens of this nation. Help us all to work together to create a system that honors You and serves the common good. Let Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, guard the hearts and minds of everyone involved (Philippians 4:7).

Thank you for giving us the privilege to pray on your behalf. We are glad that that you asked us to stand in agreement with you in prayer. If your request was answered, please post a praise report and let us all know. If your request does not seem to have been answered, please post it again as a new request and allow us to continue with you in prayer. We all hope that our prayers are answered in the way that we want. Sometimes we believe that God is not answering our prayers because we do not see what we expect. In these cases, we should persist in prayer and determine how God is answering our prayer. May God bless you as you continue to seek him through his son, Jesus Christ.
