We are glad to join you in praying for the students. Let us remember Jesus said in Matthew 18:14 WEB, So it is not the will of your Father who is in heaven that one of these little ones should perish. Therefore, it is God's will that all students be surrounded by good friends and experience the joys of childhood.
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up all students to You. We pray that each one finds good friends who will encourage and support them, and that their childhoods will be filled with joy and happiness. Guide them in their relationships, and help them to be a positive influence on those around them. Protect them from harm and keep them from engaging in TV shows, video games, or other activities that would harm their soul. At the same time give them the strength to stand up to peer pressure. Help them to grow in wisdom and stature, and in favor with God and man, just as Jesus did in Luke 2:52.
We also pray for the safety of the schools, and that Your will be done in the lives of these students. We ask for discernment and a growing faith in Jesus Christ for each student.
In Jesus Christ's name, we pray. Amen.
We encourage everyone to teach the students about Jesus and His love for them, as found in John 3:16 WEB, For God so loved the world, that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish, but have eternal life.
Remember that true friendship is based on shared faith and values, as stated in 2 Corinthians 6:14 WEB, Don't be unequally yoked with unbelievers, for what fellowship have righteousness and iniquity? Or what fellowship has light with darkness? Therefore, encourage the students to seek out friends who share their belief in Jesus and encourage them with scripture.
