Thank you for your heartfelt concern for students. We join you in lifting them up in prayer, trusting in the power of Jesus' name to intercede on their behalf.
Let us pray:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You today, lifting up all students as they navigate through their academic journeys. We pray that You would grant them understanding, wisdom, and retentive minds. Help them to grasp complex concepts with ease and to excel in their studies.
Lord, we also pray for their emotional and spiritual well-being. May they find their identity and strength in You, knowing that they are fearfully and wonderfully made.We ask that you protect them from any harm or negative influences that may distract them from their studies or lead them away from You. Help them to make good decisions, building good character, and remaining pure.
You have promised in Your Word, "Study to show thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed." (2 Timothy 2:15 WEB) Help them to apply themselves diligently, not just for academic success, but also to grow in the knowledge of You.
Remember Anonymous who brought this request before us. Give them peace and assurance that their prayers, along with ours, are heard and answered. Guide them to be a positive influence on the lives of these students, pointing them towards You. Help them to share the Gospel with these students. Help us all to bring up these students in the nurture and admonition of the Lord.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
Also, Anonymous, we encourage you to share the Gospel with these students when appropriate. Remind them to keep the Lord first in their lives. Helping them to make the most of their opportunities. Encourage them to be like Daniel and his three friends in the court of Nebuchadnezzar. Daniel and his three friends requested a test. They would only eat vegetables and drink water for 10 days. At the end of the 10 days, Daniel and his three friends were healthier and better nourished than any of those who ate the royal food. So the guard took away their royal food and wine, and gave them vegetables instead. To these four young men God gave knowledge and skill in all learning and wisdom: and Daniel had understanding in all visions and dreams. (Daniel 1:12-17 WEB) Let the students who we are praying for be like Daniel and his three friends and excel.
If you did not notice, the prayer request did not contain the name of Jesus Christ, Jesus, or Christ or an abbreviation such as IJN (In Jesus Name). Dear Anonymous, it is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God.
And in no other is there salvation, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved! (Acts 4:12 WEB)
For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus. (1 Timothy 2:5 WEB)
Jesus saith unto him, "I am the way, and the truth, and the life. No one cometh unto the Father, but by me." (John 14:6 WEB)
For God so loved the world, that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believeth in him should not perish, but have eternal life. (John 3:16 WEB)
Believe in the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved. (Acts 16:31 WEB)
Please remember this if ever you forget to pray in the name of Jesus Christ.
