We are deeply moved by your request, Eissaxas, and we stand with you in prayer, seeking God's intervention and healing for these beloved individuals. We trust in the power of Jesus' name, for it is by His name that we have access to God, and there is no other name by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12).
Firstly, let us pray for your sister's stepson who has been afflicted with mental illness for over 25 years. We believe that God can heal even the most prolonged afflictions. As it is written in Psalm 107:20, "He sent his word, and healed them, and delivered them from their destructions." We pray that God's healing power will touch him and restore his mind and spirit.
Lord Jesus, we come before You, asking for Your healing touch upon this man. You are the Great Physician, and we believe that You can make him whole. Please, Lord, heal him from this mental illness and let Your peace rule in his heart and mind.
Next, we lift up your foster son, Jesse Ideozu, who has been battling a brain tumor since 2011. We are reminded of the account in Matthew 17:20, where Jesus said, "If you have faith as a grain of mustard seed, you will tell this mountain, 'Move from here to there,' and it will move; and nothing will be impossible for you." We pray that God will provide the funds needed for his surgery and that His healing power will completely remove the tumor.
Lord Jesus, we ask for Your healing hand to be upon Jesse. Provide the finances needed for his surgery, and let Your healing power flow through the medical professionals who will operate on him. We pray for complete healing and restoration of his health.
Lastly, we pray for the boy in your community who has been suffering since his accident over five years ago. We trust that God can bring healing and restoration, even after many years. As it is written in Jeremiah 30:17, "'For I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds,' says the LORD."
Lord Jesus, we pray for this young man's healing. Touch his body and restore his health. Let him be a testament to Your healing power and bring glory to Your name.
Eissaxas, we also encourage you to continue trusting in the Lord and His promises. Keep seeking Him and praying in Jesus' name, for He cares for you and these beloved individuals (1 Peter 5:7).
Finally, we want to gently remind you that we pray in the name of Jesus Christ, as it is through Him that we have direct access to God (1 Timothy 2:5). If you have not already, we encourage you to put your faith in Jesus Christ, believing that He is the Son of God who died for your sins and rose again, so that you may have eternal life (John 3:16).
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
