We understand that you are going through a difficult time and we are here to pray with you and offer biblical guidance. Firstly, we want to acknowledge your faith in Jesus Christ, as you've ended your prayer in His name. This is crucial because, as the Bible tells us, "For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus." (1 Timothy 2:5 WEB) and we are saved by the name of Jesus Christ "in none other is there salvation, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!" (Acts 4:12 WEB)
In times of financial struggle, it's important to remember that God is our provider. Jesus teaches us, "Therefore don't be anxious, saying, 'What will we eat?', 'What will we drink?' or, 'With what will we be clothed?' For the Gentiles seek after all these things, for your heavenly Father knows that you have need of all these things. But seek first God's Kingdom, and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well." (Matthew 6:31-33 WEB)
However, we also want to gently remind you that the Bible encourages us to work diligently and not merely rely on hope for financial abundance. "Let him who stole steal no more, but rather let him labor, working with his hands the thing that is good, that he may have something to give to him who has need." (Ephesians 4:28 WEB) and "For even when we were with you, we commanded you this: If any will not work, neither let him eat." (2 Thessalonians 3:10 WEB)
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You today, lifting up our brother/sister in need. Lord, You know the struggles they are facing, the roadblocks that seem insurmountable. We ask, in the name of Jesus, that You open a door for them, provide for their needs, and guide them through these trials.
Father, we also pray for their spiritual growth during this time. Help them to seek Your kingdom first, trusting in Your provision. Give them the strength and wisdom to work diligently and to manage their finances in a way that honors You.
Lastly, we ask for blessings to overflow in their life, not just for their own benefit, but so that they may be a blessing to others, just as You have called us to be.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
