Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before you today in the name of Jesus, lifting up our dear brother Tirtarra and his son Alexander. Lord, we acknowledge that addiction is a powerful stronghold that can consume and control a person's life. We humbly ask for your intervention and deliverance for Alexander from his addiction to marijuana.
Your Word reminds us in Matthew 19:26 that "with God all things are possible." We believe in the power of your saving grace and the transformative work of your Holy Spirit. We ask that you break the chains of addiction that bind Alexander and set him free. Help him to recognize the destructive nature of his actions and to have a genuine desire to seek help and turn away from this sin.
Lord, we pray for Tirtarra as well, as he feels helpless and unsure of what to do. Strengthen his faith and grant him wisdom and discernment in guiding his son. Surround him with a supportive community of believers who can offer encouragement and prayer.
We rebuke the work of Satan in Alexander's life, knowing that you have the power to overcome any stronghold. We declare victory in the name of Jesus Christ and claim the promise in 1 John 4:4 that "greater is He who is in you, than he who is in the world."
Father, we ask that you touch Alexander's heart and open his eyes to the truth of your love and forgiveness. Soften his heart and grant him the willingness to seek professional help if necessary. May he experience your grace and mercy, leading him to a life of freedom and restoration.
We thank you, Lord, for hearing our prayers and for your faithfulness to answer them according to your perfect will. We trust in your timing and your plan for Alexander's life. May your peace and comfort surround Tirtarra and his family during this challenging time.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
