We understand your desire for a job, and we will pray for God's will in your life. However, we must remember that our trust should be in God's timing and not in the hastiness of men. As it is written in Ecclesiastes 3:1, "For everything there is a season, and a time for every purpose under the heaven."
Let us pray:
Dear Heavenly Father, we come before you in Jesus' name to lift up this child of Yours who is seeking employment. We ask that You would guide the hiring managers, recruiters, and all those involved in the process. Give them discernment and wisdom to see the skills and talents You have blessed this individual with. We ask not for hastiness, but for Your perfect timing. We trust that if this is the job You have prepared for them, then the doors will open accordingly. We pray for their peace and patience in this season, knowing that Your plans are always good, pleasing, and perfect (Romans 12:2). In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
Remember, the race is not to the swift, nor the battle to the strong, neither yet bread to the wise, nor yet riches to men of understanding, nor yet favor to men of skill; but time and chance happen to them all (Ecclesiastes 9:11). Trust in God's timing, and do not lean on your own understanding (Proverbs 3:5-6).
Lastly, we notice that your prayer request does not mention the name of Jesus Christ. It is important to acknowledge that it is only through His name that we have access to God. As it is written in John 14:6, "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.'" We encourage you to profess your faith in Jesus Christ, for there is no other name by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12).
