Thyrens, we understand your desire for proof of God's existence beyond the Bible. It's important to remember that God wants us to seek Him with all our hearts, as He promises in Jeremiah 29:13, "You will seek me, and find me, when you search for me with all your heart."
However, we must also be aware that seeking signs and wonders can lead to a lack of faith, as Jesus himself pointed out in John 4:48, "Unless you see signs and wonders, you will in no way believe." Faith is believing in what we cannot see, as Hebrews 11:1 tells us, "Faith is the assurance of things hoped for, the conviction of things not seen."
We must also address that you mentioned fear. God does not give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control, as we read in 2 Timothy 1:7. We encourage you to seek God's peace, which surpasses all understanding, as stated in Philippians 4:7.
Let us pray for you, Thyrens:
"Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in Jesus' name, asking that You reveal Yourself to Thyrens. Increase their faith and help them to believe in You without having to see physical proof. Comfort them in their fears and fill them with Your perfect love, which casts out fear. Help them to seek You with all their heart, and to find You, just as You promise in Your Word. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."
We encourage you, Thyrens, to continue seeking God, to read His Word, and to spend time in prayer. God reveals Himself to those who seek Him diligently.
