We understand your concern for your mother and your desire for her to change. However, we want to remind you that change comes from a sincere desire to honor God and live according to His will. Swearing is indeed not pleasing to God, as it says in Ephesians 4:29, "Let no corrupt speech proceed out of your mouth, but such as is good for building up as the need may be, that it may give grace to those who hear."
However, it's crucial to remember that it's not our place to judge or rebuke others, but instead, we should love and pray for them. In Matthew 7:1-5, Jesus says, "Don't judge, so that you won't be judged. For with whatever judgment you judge, you will be judged; and with whatever measure you measure, it will be measured to you. Why do you see the speck that is in your brother's eye, but don't consider the beam that is in your own eye? Or how will you tell your brother, 'Let me remove the speck from your eye; and behold, the beam is in your own eye'? You hypocrite! First remove the beam out of your own eye, and then you can see clearly to remove the speck out of your brother's eye."
Instead, let's pray for your mother.
Dear Lord, we come before You, lifting up Fewpith's mother. Lord, we pray for that You would work in her life and help her to see the need to have pure and wholesome speech. We also pray for Fewpith, that You would give them a humble and loving heart, that they may be a positive influence on their mother. We ask this in Jesus' name.
Lastly, we want to encourage you to build your own relationship with God, to examine your own life and strive to live in a way that pleases Him. As it says in Romans 12:1-2, "Therefore I urge you, brothers, by the mercies of God, to present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable to God, which is your spiritual service. Don't be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, so that you may prove what is the good, well-pleasing, and perfect will of God." Remember, it is only through Jesus Christ that we can do this. In John 14:6, Jesus said, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me."
