Disciple of Prayer
Please Lord, let the job process move along quickly...I have been waiting since February, Lord...My patience is running out...I am depressed and losing faith...it is hard for others to understand what it's like to be constantly, financially struggling... running from one food pantry to the next five days a week for food...we are eating one meal a day, which is more than probably most of the poor is eating daily-and I do thank the Lord for that! I have seen the poverty around the world and I recognized their suffering...But I never FELT it personally before the last few months...hunger, longing, the lack of inner peace...wondering where and if the next meal would come. I really understand their suffering now, Lord. Please let me find a job, please let the people here pray to you, sitting on your Throne, for a better life for me and my husband...for a life that we don't have to spend all our time trying to just find food to survive. I will sing your praises, Lord, if you will just deliver a miracle to us. I will do your WORK and help others who are so much less fortunate than we are...I will relieve some of the suffering and hunger of the children of the Pine Ridge Reservation. I will devote my LIFE to them if you will just give me the tool (a job) to do it. I know it is my destiny to help them, as they are so down-trodden and they have been abused and betrayed by those in government who promised them they would be taken care of. I want a job so I can LIFT THEM UP FROM THEIR MISERABLE, HORRIBLE LIVING CONDITIONS. Please all of you, pray for me that I get a job soon, so I can help these people living in such horrific, completely UNTHINKABLE conditions in the USA...no running water, out houses, no income, no electricity, no heat in the bitter cold winters of South Dakota, no boots or gloves or hats for their children, no clothes, a bare cupboard, severely diminished life spans from the polluted water tables brought on by greedy corporations, rampant drug and alcohol abuse stemming from the lack of opportunity and separation from their culture. The FIRST Americans...who have been so badly treated and so horribly ignored and forgotten. I only want a job to help THEM. Thank you, in advance, for praying for me and my husband...We only want to make a difference for the FIRST Americans. We only want to help lift them out of their overwhelming poverty and give their children hope...This is why I am asking for you to pray for me to get a job...I want to have the resources to help the people of the Pine Ridge Reservation. Again, thank you all in advance, for praying for me to find work...
