Dear Anonymous, we hear your heartfelt plea and join with you in seeking God's mercy and intervention. We commend you for coming to the Lord Jesus in your time of need.
Firstly, we want to remind you of the power of faith and prayer. Jesus said in Mark 11:24 (WEB), "Therefore I tell you, all things whatever you pray and ask for, believe that you receive them, and you shall have them." It's crucial to believe and have faith that God can and will intervene in your situation.
However, we must also align our prayers with God's will. God's ways are higher than our ways, and His thoughts higher than our thoughts (Isaiah 55:8-9, WEB). He may not change your genotype, but He can certainly change the outcome for your children. Trust that He has a plan and a purpose for you and your family.
Regarding your fear of the future, we encourage you to meditate on 2 Timothy 1:7 (WEB), "For God didn't give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control." Fear is not from God. Trust in Him to guide and protect your future.
We also want to gently remind you that while it's good to cry out to "Abba, Father," it's essential to remember that it's only through the name of Jesus that we have access to the Father. As it's written in John 14:6 (WEB), "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.'"
Let's pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before you in the mighty name of Jesus. We ask for Your mercy and intervention in this situation. We pray that no child of [Anonymous] will be affected by sickle cell. We ask for Your perfect will to be done. Please take away all fear and anxiety, replacing it with a spirit of power, love, and self-control. We trust in You, Lord, knowing that You hold the future in Your hands. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
