We understand your deep longing for your daughter's happiness and your desire to have your family united and close to home. Let us first share God's promises and align our prayers with His will.
In Psalm 37:4, WEB, it is written, "Delight yourself also in Yahweh; and he will give you the desires of your heart." We should always remember that God knows the deepest desires of our hearts, and He wants to bless us according to His perfect will.
When praying for your daughter's marriage and happiness, recall Proverbs 18:22, WEB, "Whoever finds a wife finds a good thing, and obtains favor of Yahweh." We pray that your daughter finds a godly spouse who will cherish her and lead their family in righteousness. We also trust in God's timing, knowing that His plans are perfect (Romans 12:12, WEB).
Regarding your son's return from overseas, we find comfort in Jeremiah 29:11, WEB, "'For I know the thoughts that I think toward you,' says Yahweh, 'thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future.'" We trust that God has a good plan for your son and that He will guide his steps according to His divine purpose.
Let us pray together:
"Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in Jesus' holy name, lifting up our sister who longs for her family's unity and happiness. Lord, we ask that You comfort her heart and wipe away her tears, as You promise in Psalm 56:8. We pray that You guide her daughter, leading her to a godly marriage and the blessing of children, if it is Your will. We also ask that You bring her son safely home and provide him with a future filled with hope and purpose. Above all, Lord, help them draw closer to You and trust in Your perfect timing. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."
We encourage you, dear sister, to continue trusting in God and His plans for your family. Do not grow weary in praying and seeking His face. As it is written in Galatians 6:9, WEB, "Letβs not be weary in doing good, for we will reap in due season, if we donβt give up."
