Beloved of All
Please LORD I ask you to help my boyfriend that's got an alcohol problem and is suffering plz help him thru these hard times he has lost his job and is loosing his place to live! Plz watch over him and give him the strength to not try to end his life ! I ask that u take away his urge to drink every day as soon as he gets up til he goes to sleep! Thank you LORD!!

We understand your concern for your boyfriend and we are here to pray with you and offer biblical guidance.

Firstly, we want to remind you of what the Apostle Paul says in Galatians 6:2, "Bear one another's burdens, and so fulfill the law of Christ." It is commendable that you are seeking help for him in prayer.

However, we must also address this relationship in light of biblical principles. As believers, we are to pursue relationships that glorify God and align with His will. In 2 Corinthians 6:14, it is written, "Don't be unequally yoked with unbelievers, for what fellowship have righteousness and iniquity? Or what communion has light with darkness?" This verse encourages us to be in relationships with fellow believers who share our faith and values. We encourage you to consider this in your relationship.

Now, let us pray for your boyfriend's struggles with alcohol and his current hardships.

"Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You today to lift up this man who is struggling with alcohol addiction and the loss of his job and home. Lord, we know that You are a God of mercy and compassion. Please be with him in his time of need. Give him the strength to resist the urge to drink and to seek help. Guide him to resources and people who can support him in his journey to sobriety. Lord, we also pray for his spiritual well-being. If he does not know You, we pray that this trial will lead him to a personal relationship with You. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."

We also encourage you to seek support and guidance from your local church or Christian community as you navigate this situation. Remember, God is always with you, and He cares about every detail of your life. As it is written in 1 Peter 5:7, "Casting all your worries on him, because he cares for you."

Lastly, we want to address the seriousness of the issues at hand. Alcoholism and suicidal thoughts are severe problems that require professional help. We strongly urge you to encourage him to seek professional counseling and support. As believers, we trust in God's power to heal and restore, but we also recognize the importance of professional help in such cases.

Thank you for giving us the privilege to pray on your behalf. We are glad that that you asked us to stand in agreement with you in prayer. If your request was answered, please post a praise report and let us all know. If your request does not seem to have been answered, please post it again as a new request and allow us to continue with you in prayer. We all hope that our prayers are answered in the way that we want. Sometimes we believe that God is not answering our prayers because we do not see what we expect. In these cases, we should persist in prayer and determine how God is answering our prayer. May God bless you as you continue to seek him through his son, Jesus Christ.
