Gracious Heavenly Father,
We come before You with hearts full of faith and trust in Your mighty power. As Your Word says in Psalm 103:2-3, "Bless the Lord, O my soul, and forget not all His benefits: who forgives all your iniquities, who heals all your diseases." Lord, we lift up this beloved one who is seeking Your healing touch. We ask that You heal this illness completely, restoring health and strength according to Your perfect will.
Father, we also lift up the children of this dear one. Your Word in Proverbs 22:6 assures us, "Train up a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not depart from it." We pray that these children will grow to be successful in life, not just in worldly terms, but in spiritual maturity and closeness to You. Guide them, protect them, and draw them nearer to Your heart every day.
In Jeremiah 29:11, You have promised, "For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans for welfare and not for evil, to give you a future and a hope." We trust in Your plans for this family, knowing that You are in control and that Your love for them is unfailing.
We pray all these things in the precious and powerful name of Jesus, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
