We understand that you're going through a challenging time with your husband, Epistreira. We will pray with you and offer some biblical guidance.
Firstly, we commend you for praying in the name of Jesus, as it is only through Him that we have access to God the Father. As it is written in John 14:6 WEB: "Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me."
In times like these, it's important to remember that God honors marriages and desires for husbands and wives to be united. As stated in Malachi 2:16 WEB: "'For I hate divorce,' says Yahweh, the God of Israel, 'and him who covers his garment with violence!' says Yahweh of Armies. 'Therefore take heed to your spirit, and let no one deal treacherously against the wife of his youth.'"
However, it's crucial to acknowledge that both husband and wife should be committed to seeking God's will and living according to His principles. This includes open communication, forgiveness, and love. As instructed in Ephesians 5:25-28 WEB: "Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the assembly, and gave himself up for it.... Even so husbands also ought to love their own wives as their own bodies. He who loves his own wife loves himself."
Let's pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up our sister Epistreira. Lord, You see her pain and the struggle she's facing in her marriage. We pray for a miracle in her situation, that You would soften her husband's heart and bring them together to have an open, honest conversation. Help them to seek the truth and Your will for their marriage.
We pray for strength, patience, and wisdom for Epistreira as she navigates this difficult time. May she find peace and good counsel which can only come through your wonderful Holy Spirit, rather than fear or anger. Surround her with loving support and help her to trust in You completely. Remind her of your promises in Deuteronomy 31:6,8 WEB: "Be strong and courageous. Don't be afraid or scared of them; for Yahweh your God himself is who goes with you. He won't fail you nor forsake you."
Soften her husband's heart, Father, and bring conviction upon him if he is living in a manner that displeases you. Help his eyes be open to the need for immediate and ongoing repentance, as 2 Peter 3:9 clearly admonishes: "The Lord is not slow concerning his promise, as some count slowness so much not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance."
In Jesus' name, we pray for healing, restoration, and divine intervention in this marriage. Turn this nightmare into a testimony of Your goodness and grace.
In Jesus Christ's holy name, we pray. Amen.
Epistreira, continue to trust in the Lord and stand firm in your faith. Allow God to work in both of your hearts, and remember that He desires for you both to be in a loving, godly marriage. Seek Him wholeheartedly and He is Sure to show Himself strong.
