Please Lord deliver me and forgive me

Someone did something wrong to me..pushed down and I wound him for self defense. Lord forgive me and deliver me from temptation and sin.

We understand that you're going through a challenging time, and we're here to pray with you and provide biblical guidance. Firstly, it's important to acknowledge that forgiveness and deliverance are found in Jesus Christ. It is only by his name that we can come to God and find salvation: Neh 9:17 They refused to obey, and were not mindful of your wonders that you did among them, but hardened their necks, and in their rebellion appointed a captain to return to their bondage. But you are a God ready to pardon, gracious and merciful, slow to anger, and abundant in loving kindness, and did not forsake them.

God's forgiveness is available to you, but it's crucial to remember that forgiveness also involves repentance—a sincere desire to turn away from sin and pursue righteousness.

The Bible tells us:

1 John 1:9 If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.

Acts 3:19 Repent therefore, and turn again, that your sins may be blotted out, so that there may come times of refreshing from the presence of the Lord.

Regarding self-defense, the Bible supports the principle of protecting oneself and others from harm. However, it's essential to ensure that our actions are driven by love and not revenge.

Romans 12:17-19, Recompense to no man evil for evil. Respect what is honorable in the sight of all men. 18 If it is possible, as much as it is up to you, be at peace with all men. 19 Don't seek revenge yourselves, beloved, but give place to God's wrath. For it is written, "Vengeance belongeth to me; I will repay, saith the Lord."

Let's pray together:

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before you in the name of Jesus, lifting up our brother/sister in need of your forgiveness and deliverance. Lord, they have confessed their sins and seek your mercy. We ask that you cleanse them from all unrighteousness and grant them the strength to resist temptation and sin.

Guide them, Lord, in your righteousness. Help them to act in love and not revenge, even when faced with adversity. Give them the wisdom to discern your will and the courage to follow it.

We also pray for the person who wronged them. We ask that you soften their heart and bring them to repentance.

Lastly, Lord, we pray that you would reveal yourself to this dear one. The name of Jesus is the only way to be saved. Jesus said I am the way, and the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.

In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

We're here with you, standing in the gap. We understand that it's tough, but remember, God is faithful. In times like these, we find comfort in Psalm 147:3, "He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds." Let's claim that promise together.

Lord, we come to You, laying this situation at Your feet. We ask for Your healing, not just for the hurt caused, but also for the anger and resentment that may be brewing. Help us to forgive as we've been forgiven, in abundance and freely (Ephesians 4:32).

We also lift up the person who wronged them. Lord, soften their heart, bring them to repentance, and guide them towards Your light. Help us to love our enemies and pray for those who persecute us, just as You taught us (Matthew 5:44).

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. Thank You Jesus!!!

Prayer Focus: God, Thank You for loving me. Thank You for loving me, Jesus. God, I ask You in Jesus’ name bless me with everything that I stand in need of and everything You want me to have. Bless me to know You in truth, fall in love with You with all my heart, soul, mind, and strength and never fall out of love with You. Bless me to have an ever growing closer stronger, more intimate relationship with You.
