Please lift my mother up in your prayers urgently

My mother suffered a stroke just before the Chinese New Year and is currently in the ICU. The doctors have indicated that if she can make it past February 4th, she will have successfully navigated the most critical period. There is a blockage in her right brain, along with bruising on her right shoulder and swelling in her left hand, among other concerning symptoms. I earnestly ask God to place His healing hands upon my mother's head, swiftly clearing the blockage in her brain and restoring balance to her body, relieving the swelling so she can fully recover and be discharged in peace and health as soon as possible. I humbly request everyone’s prayers for her. May God bless and remember you, and I offer my heartfelt thanks.

Thank you for your prayers! It’s a great reminder. I mentioned before the Chinese Lunar New Year that, since it’s currently the holiday period, some medical staff are on vacation and certain things cannot proceed. Hopefully, this will not delay my mother’s treatment. I pray that God Himself will reign and heal her!

Due to the New Year holiday, some medical staff are not working, and certain matters cannot be carried out. Hopefully, this does not delay my mother's treatment. I pray that God will reign and personally heal her. At the same time, I want to thank everyone for lifting her up in prayer!

We come before You today, lifting up [Mother’s Name], who is currently in the ICU, battling the effects of a stroke. Lord, You are the Great Physician (Exodus 15:26), the One who heals all wounds and brings restoration to those in need. As she faces this critical period, we pray for Your divine intervention to touch her body with strength and healing.


Father, we ask that You place Your mighty hand upon her head and dissolve the blockage in her right brain. As You have promised in Jeremiah 30:17, “But I will restore you to health and heal your wounds,” we declare Your word over her life. Clear her body of every obstruction and imbalance, and relieve the swelling in her left hand. Touch the bruising on her right shoulder and every area of concern, restoring her fully with Your power.


Lord, just as You healed the sick when You walked on earth, we trust in Your healing power today. We remember the words of Psalm 147:3, “He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds.” Father, bind her wounds, reduce her pain, and guide her through this recovery. Let her body respond positively to treatment, and give wisdom and guidance to the medical team caring for her.


May the Holy Spirit bring comfort and peace to her family during this time of uncertainty. Strengthen their faith, for You have said in Isaiah 41:10, “Do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.” Hold them in Your arms, Lord, and fill them with unwavering hope.


We believe, Lord, that You can do exceedingly and abundantly above what we ask (Ephesians 3:20). Let [Mother’s Name] overcome this critical period with Your grace. May she soon be discharged, healed, and restored, walking in new strength and vitality. Grant her peace, health, and long life, Father, so she may continue to be a blessing to those who love her.
