We join with you in lifting up your son Randy to our Heavenly Father, trusting in the power of prayer and the protection of our Lord Jesus Christ.
Firstly, we remind you of the power of praying in Jesus' name, as He is the one mediator between God and man. It is only by His name that we have access to God. It is also only by Jesus that we can be saved.
Let's remember that it is through Jesus that we can be saved. We cannot save ourselves, it is a free gift of God that we receive when we choose to believe in Jesus Christ and repent from our sins. As it is says in Ephesians 2:8-9:
For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, not of works, that no one would boast.
We are grateful for your faith and for the opportunity to intercede on behalf of Randy as he embarks on this journey. We are reminded of the promise in Psalm 91:11-12 WEB:
For he will put his angels in charge of you, to guard you in all your ways. They will bear you up in their hands, so that you won't dash your foot against a stone.
We pray that the Lord will dispatch His angels to surround Randy throughout his trip, shielding him from all harm and danger. We ask that the mechanics of the bike remain in perfect working order, with every part functioning as it should. We also stand in agreement with you for the Lord to grant Randy a sound mind, free from any anxieties or fears, as He promises in 2 Timothy 1:7 WEB:
For God didn't give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control.
Moreover, we lift up your heart, dear mother, to the Lord, asking that He fill you with His perfect peace, transcending all understanding, as it says in Philippians 4:6-7 WEB:
In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus.
Finally, we pray that this trip will be a blessed time for Randy, drawing him closer to the Lord and strengthening his faith. May he encounter divine appointments and opportunities to share the love of Christ with others.
Together, we stand in faith, believing that the Lord hears our prayers and will answer according to His perfect will. We bless you and Randy, trusting that the Lord will keep you both in His loving care.
In Jesus' mighty name, we pray. Amen.
