Please let there be peace this weekend. My family is getting together and the men are abusive and we girls can't do anything about it because everyone defends them just because they are the providers. They pressure us to do stuff we don't want to do. It all revolves around them having dominance over us. Please may there be peace and not abuse. I wish I could leave but they make sure we can't work or go out or do anything other than depend on them.

Heavenly Father, in Jesus Name, we come to You today asking for Your peace to be present this weekend. We ask that You protect the women and girls in this family from any kind of abuse and that You would bring an end to the pressure they are feeling to do things they don't want to do. We ask that You would give them strength and courage to stand up for themselves and to be able to leave if they need to. We ask that You would provide for them financially and emotionally so that they can be independent and free from the dominance of the men in the family. We pray that You would bring peace and harmony to this family and that You would be glorified in all that happens. Amen.
