Please let my uncle be free of pain and suffering, please let us know he is ok

Please dear GOD I need to know that my uncle was not in pain the morning he passed, and I need to know if he knew I was there. I keep seeing him almost lifeless on the couch wishing I could help him, talk to him, say goodbye to him, hold his hand but I couldn't, I pray that he was not scared. I feel terrible, I hope he knows that I'm sorry that I couldn't do much as there was chaos and I was in a shock.  He helped take care me of practically my whole life, and my daughter to.  Please GOD give us reassurance that he is not in pain and not suffering, and that he is still with us.  We love and miss him so much
