We understand that you're struggling with a gambling addiction and we're here to support you in prayer and truth. Firstly, it's crucial to remember that God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble Psalm 46:1 WEB.
Gambling is a form of covetousness and a love for money 1 Timothy 6:10 WEB, For the love of money is a root of all kinds of evil. Some have been led astray from the faith in their greed, and have pierced themselves through with many sorrows.

We must flee from this and pursue righteousness, godliness, faith, love, patience. 1 Timothy 6:11 WEB But you, man of God, flee these things, and follow after righteousness, godliness, faith, love, patience, and gentleness.
Let's pray together:
Almighty God, we come before you in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our brother/sister who is struggling with this gambling addiction. We know the only way to overcome is through Jesus and we know it is only through the name of Jesus that we can be saved. Please give them the strength to flee from this temptation.
and help them to grow in righteousness, godliness, faith, love, and patience. Help them to trust in you alone for their financial needs. We believe which says, "God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble."

Let's claim these promises together: "No temptation has overtaken you except what is common to mankind. And God is faithful; he will not let you be tempted beyond what you can bear. But when you are tempted, he will also provide a way out so that you can endure it" (1 Corinthians 10:13, NIV). Let's pray: "Dear Lord, we lift up our friend, asking for Your strength to help them overcome this temptation. Help them to find their joy and security in You, not in gambling. Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
