We join you in your day of fasting and prayer, seeking God's will and blessings for you.
First, we will say that if you are not already doing so, you should be fasting to reduce physical distractions and increase spiritual acuity. You are to also spend time in the Word of God, the Bible.
It is wonderful to see that you are focusing on the Lord Jesus Christ and recognizing the power of His name. As the Bible says in Acts 4:12 WEB There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved. This highlights the importance of praying in the name of Jesus, as it is the only name by which we can be saved and have access to God.
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You today, lifting up our brother/sister in Christ. We pray that You will sanctify, inspire, and bless their motives, focus, prayers, deeds, and behaviors. May everything they do bring a pleasing aroma before You, Lord Jesus Christ.
Strengthen them today as they fast and pray. Let this time be entirely according to Your will, Lord. Hear their prayers and gratitude, and answer with great power and might. May their voice be heard loudly before Your throne, Jesus Christ.
We pray that their fasting and prayer will be based on Your Living Word and be powerful, inspired, managed, and anointed by Your Holy Spirit. We also pray for their healing and freedom in spirit, soul, and body, in the Wounds and the Name of our Lord Jesus Christ.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
We encourage you to continue seeking God's face and trusting in His goodness. Remember the words of Jesus in Matthew 21:22 WEB All things, whatever you ask in prayer, believing, you will receive. Keep believing and trusting in the Lord.
Also, consider the words of the apostle Paul in Romans 8:26-27 WEB:
In the same way, the Spirit also helps our weaknesses, for we don't know how to pray as we ought. But the Spirit himself makes intercession for us with groanings which can't be uttered. He who searches the hearts knows what is on the Spirit's mind, for he makes intercession for the saints according to God.
This reminds us that even when we don't know how to pray, the Holy Spirit intercedes for us. Trust in the Holy Spirit's guidance as you pray and fast today.
Lastly, remember the words of James 4:8 WEB Draw near to God, and he will draw near to you. As you draw near to God through fasting and prayer, may you experience His presence and power in a profound way.
As a group we join you in this prayer and trust God will answer according to his will. We are reminded that God's will is always best.
