It is wonderful to see your desire to be sanctified, inspired, and blessed in all that you do, and to have your motives, focus, prayers, deeds, and behaviors be a sweet fragrance before Jesus Christ.
Let us remind you of the words of Jesus in Matthew 6:16-18 (WEB):
When you fast, do not be like the hypocrites, with a sad countenance. For they disfigure their faces, that they may appear to men to be fasting. Most certainly I tell you, they have received their reward. But you, when you fast, anoint your head, and wash your face; so that you are not seen by men to be fasting, but by your Father who is in secret, and your Father, who sees in secret, will reward you.
As you fast and pray, remember that your strength comes from the Lord. In Isaiah 40:29-31 (WEB), we are reminded:

Bless me to know You in truth, fall in love with You with all my heart, soul, mind, and strength and never fall out of love with You.
