Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before you in the mighty name of Jesus, lifting up ### and their prayer request for ###'s addiction. Lord, we know that addiction is a stronghold that can only be broken by your power and grace. We ask that you intervene in ###'s life, breaking the chains of addiction that bind him. Set him free, Lord, and fill his heart with a deep desire to walk in your ways.
We also lift up ###, who is taking steps forward but sometimes feels like they are going backwards. Lord, you see the struggles and the heartbreak. We ask for your comfort and strength to surround them during this difficult time. Help them to trust in your plan, even when they don't understand the "why." Give them the perseverance to keep moving forward, knowing that you are with them every step of the way.
In your Word, you promise that you are able to save to the uttermost those who come to you. We claim this promise for ### and ###. We ask that you would save ### from the grip of addiction and bring healing and restoration to his life. Strengthen ###'s faith and grant them peace in the midst of their heartbreak.
Lord, we know that you are able to do immeasurably more than we can ask or imagine. We trust in your power and your love. We thank you in advance for the victory that you will bring in ###'s life and for the comfort and healing that you will provide to ###.
