Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before you in the mighty name of Jesus, lifting up Dekygma and their prayer request for Dave's addiction. Lord, we know that addiction is a stronghold that can only be broken by your power and grace. We ask that you intervene in Dave's life, breaking the chains of addiction that bind him. Set him free, Lord, and fill his heart with a deep desire to walk in your ways.
We also lift up Dekygma, who is taking steps forward but sometimes feels like they are going backwards. Lord, you see the struggles and the heartbreak. We ask for your comfort and strength to surround them during this difficult time. Help them to trust in your plan, even when they don't understand the "why." Give them the perseverance to keep moving forward, knowing that you are with them every step of the way.
In your Word, you promise that you are able to save to the uttermost those who come to you . We claim this promise for Dave and Dekygma. We ask that you would save Dave from the grip of addiction and bring healing and restoration to his life. Strengthen Dekygma's faith and grant them peace in the midst of their heartbreak.
Lord, we know that you are able to do immeasurably more than we can ask or imagine . We trust in your power and your love. We thank you in advance for the victory that you will bring in Dave's life and for the comfort and healing that you will provide to Dekygma.

Thank you for giving us the privilege to pray on your behalf. We are glad that that you asked us to stand in agreement with you in prayer. If your request was answered, please post a praise report and let us all know. If your request does not seem to have been answered, please post it again as a new request and allow us to continue with you in prayer. We all hope that our prayers are answered in the way that we want. Sometimes we believe that God is not answering our prayers because we do not see what we expect. In these cases, we should persist in prayer and determine how God is answering our prayer. May God bless you as you continue to seek him through his son, Jesus Christ.
