We stand with you in prayer, asking God to intervene in this situation and bring peace and protection to your neighborhood. We praise God that you acknowledge Jesus.
Let us come to God in prayer:
Almighty Father, we come before you in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our fellow believer and their family. We pray for Your protection over their home and their neighborhood. We ask that You would thwart the plans of the evil one and bring an end to the extortion and theft that has taken place. We pray for the authorities, that You would guide them and give them wisdom as they investigate this crime. Help them to carry out their duties with integrity and diligence, that justice may be served.
We also pray for the hearts of the troublemakers in the neighborhood. We know that You desire for all to come to repentance and knowledge of the truth. We pray that You would soften their hearts and draw them to Yourself, that they may be delivered from the snare of the devil.
Lord, we know that You are a God of order and not of confusion. We ask that You would bring peace and order to this neighborhood. We pray that You will deal with the wicked, or they will be brought to repentance. We claim your promise in 2 Chronicles 7:14 (WEB): "if my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves, pray, seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then I will hear from heaven, will forgive their sin, and will heal their land."
We ask this all in the precious name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
We encourage you to continue praying for your neighborhood and for the authorities involved. Remember that our battle is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world's rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places. Stand firm, therefore, knowing that the Lord is fighting on your behalf.
We also urge you to share the gospel with your neighbors, that they may come to a saving knowledge of Jesus Christ. For it is written in Romans 10:13-14 (WEB), "For whoever will call on the name of the Lord will be saved. How then will they call on him in whom they have not believed? How will they believe in him whom they have not heard? How will they hear without a preacher?"
Be strong and of good courage, for the Lord your God is with you, wherever you go.
