The Bible teaches us that divorce is not God's ideal for marriage (Malachi 2:16, WEB). However, it also acknowledges that because of the hardness of our hearts, it is a reality in our fallen world (Matthew 19:8, WEB).
Firstly, we want to assure you that God cares deeply about your situation. He is close to the brokenhearted (Psalm 34:18, WEB) and understands your pain. However, the focus should not just be on getting back together, but on seeking God's will and ensuring that any reconciliation is built on a godly foundation.
We need to pray that if it is God's will for you and your ex-husband to reconcile, that He would make the path clear and provide the necessary healing and restoration.
