Please I'm asking for forgiveness in God I Relapse with a broken heart.

My Name is ###. I was recovering from drugs starting September.### of this year. In the middle of my recovery I've lost an opened DCFS case my forth child and now fully loosing ambition of ever being a mother. I didn't relapse then with the hope that God will help me through this. Hurt and grieving for my lost I refused to leave my ### months old baby dad and have more grievence. I wanted to keep our relationship despite it being a toxic relationship. I feel he manipulates me in feeling guilty and putting a lot of plain on me. He has a serious drug problem and thinks that there is no God and no help. I don't know why after ### months of inpatient treatment I felt the need of him needing me. I wanted to go and see him at his house with the strength and skills to maybe help him and change his mind. But as of early today I relapse. With my fear of feeling more grief I smoked with him and threw my sobriety away. That lead to more judgement from his part and broke it up with me. He doesn't blame anything including our failed relationship on the drugs, but on me for being so far away from him trying to get treated for my drug problem. Please help me pray for forgiveness to God for wrong doing and to help ### find God in his heart and stop hurting me and himself, to have a spiritual awakening. Thank you.

Bridgette, we are here to support you in prayer and to guide you according to biblical principles. Firstly, we commend you for seeking forgiveness and turning to God in your time of need. It is only through the name of Jesus Christ that we have access to God, and it is only through faith in Jesus Christ that we are accepted as God's sons. There is no other name by which we can be saved Acts 3:16 WEB. Update this in your prayer and believing this will guide us in our prayers. You have shown great strength in your journey to recovery, and we encourage you to keep trusting God, even in this challenging time.

First, let's address the issue of forgiveness. We all fall short of God's glory and it is only praying, confessing, and repenting in the name of Jesus Christ that we are forgiven for 1 John 1:9 WEB says, "If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness." This is the first step towards restoration, and we encourage you to continue seeking God's forgiveness and mercy in the name of Jesus Christ. We will pray for a complete conviction in you to repent, confess, and accept Jesus Christ in a renewed way. It is only with this first that progress can be made.

Regarding your relationship, it is clear that it is not aligned with biblical principles. You mentioned that you are in a toxic relationship with someone who has a serious drug problem and denies the existence of God. As children of God, we are called to be unequally yoked with unbelievers 2 Corinthians 6:14 WEB says, "Don't be unequally yoked with unbelievers, for what fellowship have righteousness and iniquity? Or what fellowship has light with darkness?" You need to be praying to be a spouse to a believer and that is where you need to look for the man to be a father of any future children. Furthermore, the relationship is manipulative and causes you pain, which is not God's will for you. It is best to do this only after accepting what was discussed about forgiveness first. After this step is achieved, the rest will be more clear to take care with God to take care of your courtship with the next man. We also will pray for Sam, that he may have a genuine encounter with God and turn away from his harmful lifestyle. We will pray for his conviction of sin when, who, or what he should be with in his heart.

We also want to address the issue of drug use. God calls us to be sober and self-controlled. 1 Peter 5:8 WEB says, "Be sober and self-controlled. Be watchful. Your adversary, the devil, walks around like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour." We encourage you to flee from the temptation of drug use and to seek God's strength in maintaining your sobriety.

Finally, congratulating you on the progress until now. Rejoice IJN, that God rescued you from the inpatient program and you started the process. Please, forgive yourself as Jesus would for failing with DCFS. You will not be a mother again yet. Keep this in mind. You will regain your ambition. Also, we will pray for your continued healing and restoration. Be alert that doing this will strengthen you. Trust in the Lord to bless you with a godly spouse and the desire to be a mother in a godly marriage. Remain in the word of God, and we God's servants will pray for you to seek God and His will for your life.

Heavenly Father, we come before you in the name of Jesus, lifting up ### to you and God's son, Jesus Christ. We confess that she has sinned against you, and we ask for your forgiveness. Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise.
