We understand your struggle and we are here to intercede for you. The spirit of "near success syndrome" is indeed troubling, but remember, God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control (2 Timothy 1:7, WEB).
Firstly, we need to ensure that you have put your trust in Jesus Christ. It is only through His name that we have access to God, and there is no other name by which we can be saved (John 14:6, WEB). If you have not yet done so, we encourage you to confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, for this is how you will be saved (Romans 10:9, WEB).
Now, let's pray together:
"Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in Jesus' name, lifting up our brother/sister who is struggling with the spirit of 'near success syndrome'. Lord, we rebuke this spirit in Jesus' name. We claim Your promise that You have plans to prosper and not to harm, plans to give hope and a future (Jeremiah 29:11, WEB).
Lord, we ask for Your divine intervention. Guide our brother/sister in the path You have ordained for them. Grant them the peace that surpasses all understanding, so that they may sleep soundly at night (Philippians 4:7, WEB).
In the meantime, Lord, help them to be content in all circumstances, knowing that they can do all things through Christ who strengthens them (Philippians 4:11-13, WEB).
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."
Remember, God's timing is perfect. Keep trusting in Him, and He will make your paths straight (Proverbs 3:5-6, WEB). Stay strong in faith and continue to resist this spirit, knowing that the one who is in you is greater than the one who is in the world (1 John 4:4, WEB).
