Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before you in the name of Jesus, interceding on behalf of our anonymous friend who is struggling with alcoholism. Lord, we acknowledge that addiction is a powerful stronghold, but we know that nothing is impossible for you. Your Word assures us that you are able to save to the uttermost those who come to you through Jesus Christ.
We lift up our friend to you, knowing that they have made efforts to overcome this addiction in the past but have fallen back into it. We pray for your divine intervention and deliverance in their life. Lord, we ask that you would remove the overwhelming desire for alcohol and replace it with a deep hatred for it, just as you did for the writer of the source material.
We pray for strength and perseverance for our friend as they navigate this journey of recovery. Surround them with a supportive community of believers who will uplift and encourage them in their battle against alcoholism. Help them to lean on you, Lord, for you are their source of true strength and victory.
We also pray for the families and loved ones of those struggling with addiction. We ask that you would comfort them and give them hope as they continue to pray for their loved ones. May they not lose heart but trust in your faithfulness and the power of prayer.
Lord, we know that you are a God of miracles and transformation. We believe that you can set our friend free from the bondage of alcoholism and restore them to a life of wholeness and purpose. We thank you in advance for the victory that is to come.

God cleansed me of everything in my life that doesn't honor You or breaks your heart.Let me be a light in this dark world, lifting You up in the lifestyle that I live, because I accepted Your Son, Jesus Christ, as my Savior and Lord of ALL of my life. Let the joy of the Lord be my strength. Protect me God from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. We all hope that our prayers are answered in the way that we want. Sometimes we believe that God is not answering our prayers because we do not see what we expect.
