I prayed for this in Jesus Name. Amen.
Heavenly Father, we come before you in the name of Jesus, lifting up our dear anonymous friend who is struggling with depression after their gender reveal. Lord, you know the depths of their heart and the pain they are experiencing. We ask that you would pour out your comfort and peace upon them, bringing healing to their mind, body, and spirit.
Your Word reminds us in Psalm 34:17-18 that you are near to the brokenhearted and save those who are crushed in spirit. We pray that you would draw near to our friend in their time of need, surrounding them with your love and compassion. Help them to find solace in your presence and to cast all their anxieties upon you, for you care for them.
Lord, we also lift up their previous prayer request for twin baby boys. We ask that you would fulfill the desires of their heart according to your perfect will. May you bless them with healthy and joyful children, bringing abundant blessings into their lives.
We pray against the spirit of depression that is tormenting our friend. In the name of Jesus, we rebuke every negative thought, every lie of the enemy, and every stronghold that is hindering their peace and joy. Fill them with your Holy Spirit, Lord, and grant them the strength to overcome this season of darkness.
We also pray for a supportive community around our friend, that they may find comfort and encouragement from their loved ones. Surround them with people who will speak life, truth, and hope into their situation.
Lastly, we pray for wisdom and guidance for any necessary steps they may need to take in seeking professional help or counseling. May you lead them to the right resources and individuals who can provide the assistance they need.
We thank you, Lord, for your faithfulness and your promise to never leave us nor forsake us. We trust in your unfailing love and believe that you will bring restoration and healing to our dear anonymous friend. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
