Please I beg of all of you that are merciful to pray for my brother

My brother suffer of insomnia and he has a very hard time finding or keeping a job because of it! He is at at cross point right now were he was already rejected by 2 employers and my heart cries for him because he seems so discouraged and start talking low of himself.....I feel so helpless in helping him, I only have the prayers so I beg of you to also help with your prayers for him

We are deeply moved by your concern for your brother and his struggles with insomnia and employment. Let us come together in prayer and seek God's will for his life.

Firstly, let us remember that our help comes from the Lord, as it is written in Psalm 121:2, "My help comes from Yahweh, who made heaven and earth." We must also recall that Jesus Christ is our intercessor, and it is through His name that we have access to God's throne of grace. As it is written in John 14:13-14, "Whatever you will ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you will ask anything in my name, I will do it."

Let us pray:

"Heavenly Father, we come before You today in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our brother who is struggling with insomnia and unemployment. Lord, You know his heart and his struggles. We ask that You grant him the gift of sleep, as it is written in Psalm 127:2, 'It is vain for you to rise up early, to stay up late, eating the bread of toil; for he gives sleep to his beloved.'

We also pray that You open the doors of employment for him, Lord. Guide him to a job that suits his skills and brings him joy. We know that You have a plan and a purpose for his life, and we trust that You will make a way where there seems to be no way. Encourage his heart, Lord, and help him to see his worth through Your eyes.

In the meantime, we pray that he will trust in You with all his heart, and not lean on his own understanding. As it is written in Proverbs 3:5-6, 'Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight.'

Lastly, Lord, we pray that he will come to know Jesus Christ as his personal Lord and Savior, if he does not already. It is only through the name of Jesus that we can be saved, as it is written in Acts 4:12, 'There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved!'

We ask all these things in Jesus' precious name. Amen."

Wimporigh, continue to encourage your brother and remind him of God's love and faithfulness. Speak life into his situation and trust that God is working behind the scenes. Also, encourage him to seek God's face and to trust in Him, for God's ways are higher than our ways, and His thoughts higher than our thoughts (Isaiah 55:8-9).

We're standing with you and your brother in prayer. We've been thinking about him and wanted to share a verse that's been encouraging us. In 2 Corinthians 12:9, it says, "My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness." We believe God is using this trial to strengthen your brother, and we're trusting that His grace is enough for him right now.

Let's pray together:

"Dear Heavenly Father, we lift up our brother to You. We ask that You would give him restful sleep, just as You promise in Psalm 3:5, 'I lie down and sleep; I wake again, because the Lord sustains me.' We trust that You have a plan for his employment too, and we ask that You would open the right doors for him.

Lord, we also ask that You would fill him with Your peace, even in this storm. Help him to find comfort in Your presence, just as Jesus promised in Matthew 11:28-29, 'Come to me, all who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn from me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls.'

God heal me, body, soul, and spirit. Cleansed me of everything in my life that doesn't honor You. Transform and renew my mind. Bless me with love, power, and a sound mind. Let the mind that is in Christ Jesus be in me. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. God all that I have asked of You, in this prayer, please do the same for the writer of the prayer, all those who love and care about me, pray Your best for me, and all those I love and care about.
