We are truly sorry to hear that you are feeling this way, but we are glad you reached out. First, we want to remind you that you are precious in God's sight. Even if you feel worthless and useless, remember that God sees you as valuable. As it is written in Isaiah 43:4, "Since you are precious and honored in my sight, and because I love you, I will give men in exchange for you, and people in exchange for your life."
It's important to address these feelings and acknowledge that they are not from God. The enemy often uses such feelings to make us doubt our worth and God's love for us. Rebuke these feelings in Jesus' name, for they do not align with God's truth. Remember, God created you with a purpose, and He has a plan for your life. As Jeremiah 29:11 says, "For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says Yahweh, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future."
However, it's also crucial to take practical steps. Reach out to a trusted friend, family member, or mental health professional who can provide guidance and help you through this difficult time. There is no shame in seeking help, and we commend you for this act of faith and trust in God as he encourages in 1 Peter 5:7: "Casting all your worries on him, because he cares for you."
Now, let us pray for you:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You, lifting up our brother in Christ who is feeling worthless, stupid, useless, and tempted to do bad things. Father, we rebuke these feelings and thoughts in the name of Jesus, do not provide a foothold for the enemy. Thank You for Your precious word asked Christ to do and we ask Your Holy Spirit to build faith and confidence in Your love and plans. You have promised that those who seek You will find You, and we claim that promise now. Help our brother to overcome these feelings and be renewed in their mind according to Your Word. Lead them to the right support, and give them the strength to reach out and receive the help they need. We ask all this by the precious name of Jesus Christ,
Amen.
Lastly, we want to encourage you to keep your focus on Jesus. He is the author and perfecter of our faith, and He is always ready to help us in our time of need.
