Elizabeth F, we hear your cry for help and we stand with you in prayer, for God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control.
Let us remind you of God's promise in Isaiah 41:10 (WEB), "Don’t be afraid, for I am with you. Don’t be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness."
In times of fear, it is important to turn to Jesus Christ and trust in Him. It is only through His name that we have access to God's throne of grace. As it is written in John 14:6 (WEB), "Jesus said to him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me."
Let us pray together:
"Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our sister Elizabeth. Lord, she is overcome with fear, and we ask that You remind her of Your presence and Your power. Comfort her with Your love and give her the strength to face whatever is causing her to be afraid. Help her to trust in You and to know that You are always with her. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."
Elizabeth, whenever you feel afraid, remember to cast your burdens onto Jesus, for He cares for you (1 Peter 5:7). Keep your mind stayed on Him, and He will keep you in perfect peace (Isaiah 26:3). If there is anything specific that is causing you to be afraid, we encourage you to share that with us so we can pray more specifically for your needs.
