Thank you for bringing your concerns about your daughter to our attention. We are here to support you in prayer and to provide biblical guidance.
Firstly, it's crucial to remember that God cares deeply for your daughter and He wants her to thrive in all areas of her life. As it says in 1 Peter 5:7 WEB, "Casting all your worries on him, because he cares for you." We can trust that God is always working for our good and His glory.
When dealing with your daughter's attitude and respect, it's important to remember the instruction of Ephesians 6:1-2 WEB, "Children, obey your parents in the Lord, for this is right. 'Honor your father and mother,' which is the first commandment with a promise."
We should pray that God will soften your daughter's heart and help her to understand the importance of respect and obedience. It's also vital to model this behavior in your own life, as children often learn by observing their parents.
Regarding her studies, we pray for God to grant your daughter wisdom, understanding, and a desire to learn. He is the one that gives man wisdom and knowledge and to him is the glory for ever. Behold, He is the owner of might through His strength and all is his by His power forever amen Isaiah 33:5,6 WEB. Remember that God has a purpose for your daughter's life and that her education is a part of that.
Let us pray:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before you today in Jesus name and bring you our concerns for Gwenin's daughter. Lord, we ask that You would work in her heart and mind, softening her attitude and helping her to be respectful and obedient.
Give her the mind of Christ and help her to be successful in her studies. Anoint her with a spirit of wisdom and understanding right and wrong according to Proverbs 2:1-11. We trust you Lord, to guide her in Your ways, for you are the best teacher and the best Father and in Jesus name we pray all these things.
Father God, we also pray for Gwenin, that You would grant her the wisdom, patience, and grace to guide her daughter in a way that honors You. Remind her that you can do all things even this we pray. We firmly believe that you are the King of Kings and Lord and Lords and Father of you Son, the Lord Jesus Christ and that you have the power and ability to answer all prayers and to perform the miraculous in Gwenin's daughter's life in Jesus name. We thank you Lord for this request and ask that you would lead us further in how to pray for this need. Amen.
Finally, let's remember to instruct and disciple our children in the way of the Lord as it is written. And you, fathers, don’t provoke your children to wrath, but nurture them in the discipline and admonition of the Lord. Ephesians 6:4. This is a commandment and a direct instuction. We are to do this to help secure the high character of our children in Jesus name.
