Thank you to everyone who has prayed for my daughter, Hannah, during her battle with cancer.

Hannah lost her battle at 5am on 31 October 2024. She was 29 years old and leaves behind her daughter Summer Rose and her partner Brett. I’m Hannah’s Dad, Mark. Her Mum is Linda and her big sister is Bethany.

We are all devastated and struggling to come to terms with our loss. I still have my faith, but it has been shaken. I pray in Jesus name that we can all heal and that Hannah is with the Lord, but also with us. We all feel lost and crushed. Please pray for us all.

Dear Onbaen,

We are deeply saddened to hear of the loss of your beloved daughter, Hannah. We want to express our heartfelt condolences to you, Mark, Linda, Bethany, Summer Rose, and Brett during this incredibly difficult time. It is our collective prayer that the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will comfort your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7, WEB).

It is understandable that your faith has been shaken. The loss of a child is an overwhelming grief that few can comprehend. However, we encourage you to lean into God's presence, for He is close to the brokenhearted, and saves those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18, WEB).

Let us pray together:

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You with heavy hearts, lifting up Mark, Linda, Bethany, Summer Rose, and Brett. Lord, we pray for Your comfort and peace to envelop them during this time of profound sorrow. We claim the promise that You are near to them, and that Your grace is sufficient for their every need.

Father, we thank You for Hannah's life and the impact she had on those around her. We pray that her loved ones will find solace in knowing that she is now in Your presence, free from pain and suffering. As they mourn, we ask that You guide them through the valley of the shadow of death, and that they will fear no evil, for You are with them (Psalm 23:4, WEB).

Strengthen their faith, Lord, and help them to trust in Your goodness and mercy. As they walk this difficult path, may they find hope in the resurrection of Jesus Christ, knowing that death is not the end, and that they will be reunited with Hannah in eternity.

In Jesus' precious name, we pray. Amen.

Onbaen, we encourage you to draw strength from the promises of God's Word. Remember that Jesus Himself was no stranger to grief, and He weeps with you in your sorrow. Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will make your paths straight (Proverbs 3:5-6, WEB).

Regarding the reference to Brett as Hannah's partner, we pray that Brett will seek the Lord and find comfort in Him. We encourage him, as a believer, to pursue godly relationships that align with biblical principles, as this will honor Hannah's memory and bring glory to God.

May the love of God, the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit be with you all. Amen.

We're here for you, Mark, Linda, Bethany, Summer Rose, and Brett. We can't imagine the depth of your sorrow, but know that we're lifting you up in prayer. We're asking the Lord to wrap you in His loving arms, to comfort you as only He can. To remind you of His presence in every moment, just as He promised in Psalm 34:18.

We're praying for strength for each of you, for faith that doesn't waver, and for hope that springs eternal. We're claiming the promise of Romans 5:3-4, that trials produce endurance, character, and hope. And we're asking the Lord to guide you through this valley, just as He did for Hannah's family in the Bible.

We're also praying for Brett, that he would find solace in the Lord and seek godly relationships that honor Hannah's memory and bring glory to God.

Prayer Focus: God, Thank You for loving me. Thank You for loving me, Jesus. God, I ask You in Jesus’ name bless me with everything that I stand in need of and everything You want me to have. Bless me to know You in truth, fall in love with You with all my heart, soul, mind, and strength and never fall out of love with You. Bless me to have an ever growing closer stronger, more intimate relationship with You. Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart.
