I said a prayer for you, friend. With regard to your desire to dig deeper into the Bible, you might begin by choosing a specific part of the day that’s usually quiet and free from interruptions and distractions. The next step would be to decide how much time you’d like to set aside on a daily basis to study Scripture and pray. (It’s OK to start out with just 5-10 minutes if that will help you be consistent and build up the habit.) Make it your goal to follow the same schedule each day. On the other hand, if you occasionally forget, don’t give up! Be patient with yourself and try to get back on track as soon as possible. Please help pray against laziness to pray and reading of the word of God

As time goes on, you’ll likely notice that you’re gradually gaining new spiritual insight and growing in your relationship with the Lord. I recommend that you write your thoughts and prayers down in a notebook as you go along. This journal can become a tremendous source of encouragement as you continue spending time with God.
Another option would be to use a Bible reading plan. Or, you might consider working through a devotional book. If this idea seems interesting, you can check your local Christian bookstore or church library to see what’s available for you.
Remember, the Lord delights in the company of His children. You are precious to Him, and He wants you to talk to Him about anything that’s troubling you – including any struggles you might be having with reading the Bible. He loves you more than you can imagine. God bless you, and may His Word be a lamp to your feet and a light for your path (Psalm 119:105).
