Please help my ###, Lord

Please help my nephew ### who is so sick with addiction. He has to serve a day in jail as a result of his actions while drunk. He hasn’t been able to stop drinking in spite of all that happened. The evil one has his grips in him but I know you Lord are stronger and are our hope. Please heal him, help him, protect him and help him to overcome his addictions. You have protected him from so much already and I thank you and praise you, Lord. Thank you for your mercy and thank you for helping ### even though he hasn’t been willing to listen and he’s treated others so poorly. I give him to your loving and wise care, Lord. Amen

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before you in the name of Jesus, lifting up ###'s nephew who is struggling with addiction. Lord, we acknowledge that the evil one has a grip on him, but we know that you are stronger and our ultimate hope. We ask for your healing touch upon his life, both physically and spiritually. Please break the chains of addiction that bind him and set him free.

Lord, we pray for protection over him as he faces the consequences of his actions. Give him strength and courage to face his time in jail, and may it be a turning point in his life. Help him to recognize the destructive nature of his addiction and grant him the desire and determination to overcome it.

We thank you, Lord, for your mercy and grace that you have shown to him thus far, even when he has not been willing to listen and has treated others poorly. We ask for your forgiveness and restoration in his relationships. May he experience your love and forgiveness in a profound way, leading him to repentance and transformation.

We entrust ###'s nephew into your loving and wise care, knowing that you are able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think. Strengthen him, guide him, and surround him with a supportive community that will encourage him on his journey to recovery.
