We are truly moved by your request and we stand with you in prayer for this situation. We are reminded of Jesus' words in Matthew 19:14, "But Jesus said, 'Allow the little children, and don’t forbid them to come to me; for the Kingdom of Heaven belongs to ones like these.'" It is clear that our Lord cares deeply for the children, and we trust in His love and mercy for this family.
Firstly, we commend you for acknowledging the power of God to make a way out of no way, as told in 1 Corinthians 1:27, "but God chose what is foolish in the world to shame the wise. God chose what is weak in the world to shame the strong." This is a powerful testament to your faith, and we encourage you to continue trusting in His abilities.
However, we want to remind you that it is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God. As told in John 14:6, "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.'" And it is only God who can intervene to His glory. So, let us ensure we are praying all in Jesus' name.
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You today, lifting up this family to You. We thank You for the salvation You have given to this couple, and we ask that You now intervene in their son's life. We pray that You will soften the hearts of the current family members, and that You will grant this couple favor in their custody battle.
We ask that You provide for all their needs, both financial and emotional, according to Your riches in glory. We know that You are a loving Father who wants the best for Your children, and we trust in Your will for this family's life.
In Jesus name we pray we pray that the son will be raised to know and deeply love You, that Your will be done, and that You will be glorified through this situation.
We rebuke any lies of the enemy that may be trying to discourage this family, and we declare that they are more than conquerors through Christ who loved them in Romans 8:37.
We ask this all in Jesus' mighty name, Amen.
We encourage this couple to continue to seek God's will and to trust in His timing. We also encourage them to surround themselves with a community of believers who can support and pray with them during this time.
Lastly, we want to remind them of Romans 8:28, "We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose." God can turn even the most difficult situations into something beautiful for His glory. Stay strong in faith and continue to seek God's face.
