Please help me

My daughter was an addict/alcoholic and was sober for a couple of years. Her fiance evan started drinking again and she just fell off the wagon again. I'm heartbroken for c. I can't take another round of this..please Jesus
& my health is failing from stress as I age

We are truly sorry to hear about the struggles you and your daughter are facing. In times like these, it’s important to turn to God for strength and wisdom. Let’s remember what the Bible tells us in 1 Peter 5:7, “Casting all your worries on him, because he cares for you.”

Firstly, let’s address your daughter’s situation. Addiction is a powerful force, but God is more powerful. In Psalm 34:18, it says, “Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit.” God is close to your daughter in her struggle. Let’s pray that He gives her the strength to overcome this addiction.

Regarding her fiancé, it’s crucial to encourage him to seek help and repentance. James 5:16 reminds us, “Confess your faults one to another, and pray one for another, that you may be healed. The insistent prayer of a righteous person is powerfully effective.” Encourage both of them to seek God's help and to support each other in their journey towards sobriety.

We also want to address the health concerns you are facing due to stress. In Isaiah 40:29, we are told, “He gives power to the faint. To him who has no might, he increases strength.” God can strengthen you and bear your burdens. It’s important to take care of your health and to trust God with your worries.

Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ. We lift up this dear mother and her daughter to You. Please give them both the strength and perseverance they need to overcome addiction. Touch the heart of her fiancé, Evan, and guide him back to You. Bring healing to their relationship and to their lives. Lord, we also ask for Your healing touch on this mother’s health. Ease her stress and give her peace in her spirit. Remind her that You are always with her, no matter what she faces. In Jesus’ precious name, we pray. Amen.

Remember, God is faithful and will see you through this difficult time. Stay strong in your faith and trust in His unfailing love for you and your family.
